Family Style Dog Boarding & Daycare
All dogs live with us in our home as a member of our family. We do not have kennel runs, or separate rooms/buildings for the dogs. We only crate if you request it. We try to keep as close to the same routine you keep at home - from napping on the couch, to eating at a certain time each day. We also have a large, securely fenced yard for playing and exercise, along with an inground pool for the dogs.
Tara has over 20 years of direct veterinary experience and is
comfortable giving all medications, including injections.

*Boarding dogs must arrive by 3pm on the

*Puppies <8 months are an additional $5/day.

Daycare & Boarding Requirements
-Current on rabies, distemper & bordetella
(influenza highly recommended)
-Altered by 8 months of age
-Comfortable outdoors in the elements
(we are primarily an outdoor daycare)
-Does not resource guard
(food, people, toys, balls, water, etc)
-Able to maneuver a full flight of steps multiple times daily
(we have a bi-level style home and steps are unavoidable)
-Physically fit for social play
-Not afraid of gunshots
(we live within earshot of two shooting ranges)
-Not have separation anxiety (for boarding)
-Be able to sleep comfortably through the night without
disruption to the humans or other canines
-Not a fence jumper / scaler
-Does not exhibit PICA behaviors (eating/ingesting objects)
(we have toys/balls out)
-Potty trained for outdoors (not pad/litter box trained)
-Be in your home/family for at least 2 weeks
**Allowed to be a D-O-G! Get wet, dirty, romp & roll!**
PHEW! That's a lot, right? We understand the majority of dogs are not a
good fit for this style care, and are happy to give recommendations for
alternate style care if needed. Just ask!

We follow the guidance of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior and accept puppies. Puppies must meet our base requirements, along with the following:
-must have received (a minimum of) one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to their first day
-must have received (a minimum of) one de-worming
-stay must be 8 hours or less, with a half day preferred
-must be comfortable in a crate to ensure proper rest is had during daycare

-Boarding pick up before 11am: ½ day charge; pick up after 11am: full day charge.
-All boarding guests MUST arrive by 3pm of the first day of their stay, but encouraged to arrive as early as possible. All daycare guests must arrive by 9:30am.
-Daycare and boarding drop off and pick up times must be scheduled. We do not accept drop ins. Please text Tara when en route for all drop offs and pick ups.
-Boarding cancellation fee: If your stay is canceled 48 hours or less before the start date, a 15% charge of the booked stay amount will apply. If your trip return date changes after your pets start date, there is no refund
for the unused portion.
